Hi! I'm Andrea, and I turn math frowns upside down! I'm passionate about helping students unlock their potential academically and emotionally, especially those who struggle with math anxiety or need accommodations for special learning. With a degree in Psychology and Education, AMI Montessori training, and nine years of bilingual Spanish and English teaching experience, I specialize in Math for elementary and middle schoolers ages 5 to 15 and homework support across all subjects.

My teaching style is focused on individualized plans that start with concrete experience and transition toward abstraction. With a strong emotional ground, academics will follow. I use interactive methods, movement breaks, real-world examples, and plenty of practice problems to solidify understanding. I believe every student can excel in math, and my goal is to help them build their confidence and problem-solving skills alongside their knowledge.
